WHEN SUMMER RANGES END-GET READY FOR THE TREND

The end of summer ranges- Time for a new friend "The Trend".

The last couple of months we have seen very choppy range bound markets on many pairs.  It is common that during the summer months for markets to slow and in fact move sideways.

But, now we are getting close to when the ranging markets end and new trends start to form and ATR's (average true ranges) will start to increase.  It will become very important to be able to map or mark newly forming trend lines and channels to effectively trade during trending markets on our charts.

What I like to do when the markets are slow is to go back and refresh my learning on a certain trade system or even go as far as back to basics.  I have had the fortune in my training of forex to be mentored by some of the best in the business as you will see in the free video below

I have found it very important to be able to read how the markets as a whole are acting.  Are we range bound?  Are we trending?? or are we reversing.  Often times we see the market behaving in sink and we need to be able to adjust our trading for that particular market behavior, IE.. ranging, trending, etc...  So what has been happening lately??  LOTS OF RANGES.
But we know from history that this time of year this is the norm.  As September approaches we should (historically anyway) start to see the markets opening up, moving away from ranges and establishing new trends.  We need to be ready.  Below is a very good video on the basics of Trend Lines and Channels and how to put them in your charts.

I personally have watched all of this mentors videos.  Hope you enjoy it and as always share it or like it.
